The Black Battle Short Sword is designed for increased cutting power while maintaining an excellent stabbing weapon as well. With a wide, leaf-like blade and a long cutting edge, this long knife is ideal as a side-arm. The stainless steel blade has an attractive black finish as well as a unique flare on the spine of the blade; a section of the blade has been cut out, creating a hook-like protrusion along the top-back half of the blade. Otherwise, the blade is decently sized with a fairly shallow curve to the cutting edge. Completely lacking in a guard, the blade gives rise immediately to the hilt, which is attractive black wood encircled by steel rings. Lacking only the distinctive curve and weight distribution, something about the Black Battle Short Sword is almost similar to a kukrihowever, the two are entirely different as far as weapons go.
