Perhaps one of the most famous spiders, the Black Widow is well-known for her lethality'to male spiders and to mankind in general. While not nearly as gender-specific, the Black Widow Dagger is nothing if not at least lethally attractive. The guard of this dagger is easily the most drawing feature; featuring a rather large specimen of black widow, cast in an attractive metallic sheen but still possessing the distinctive red hourglass on her abdomen. Of her eight legs, her front two forelegs extend up, creating a marginal hand-guard, attaching to the fleur-de-lis that makes up the pommel. Her four middle legs stretch out and attach her to the guard, which is also comprised of a central bar, each end capped with another fleur-de-lis. Her front two legs curve out across the briefly flared width of the blade. Speaking of the blade, it is simple but effective'just like the actual bite of a spider: no bluster, all function. Hopefully, the Black Widow Dagger doesn't give you a new case of arachnophobia.
