Although the rapier is strongly associated with the Renaissance, it was generally considered a civilian weapon. An effective cutting sword was more often used by the military and was much preferred in many countries, even by civilians. This offering is well-balanced and very quick with its jimped steel parts, hardwood and leather grip, and well-tempered high carbon steel blade. Includes scabbard.
