Claymore Sword (SR076)

Based on 16th century museum pieces and combining great size with graceful lines, the Claymore was used with devastating effect by highlanders of old. The Robert the Bruce Claymore features a leather- covered grip with brass rings and the diamond shaped quillons found on many period pieces. The leather-wrapped ricasso, a feature found on many larger two-handed swords, provided extra leverage in close-combat situations.
