Intimidating butted armor, blackened for moisture resistance. Reminiscent of the Black Prince, who purposefully let his mail darken to a blackish hue. Our model was faithfully copied from examples in museums and private collections, the diameter of each outer link is about 7/16, inner link diameter about 3/8. Coifs can be worn with or without a helmet. We recommend keeping this mail oiled at all times.
