Detailed Item Descriptions:
Lionheart Tunic: There was no bigger of a romantic figure in history than King Richard of England, known as "The Lionheart". This magnificent tunic is made of a rich red cotton velvet and has the king's original coat-of-arms, the double gold rampant lions emblazoned on the front in stunning embroidery. The tunic has an opening in the front and back for easy riding.

Hero's Chainmail Hauberk: The smaller and finer the rings, the better the protection. We are proud to offer the peak of the armorer's art (and patience) as it pertains to mail. Butted, 17 guage steel rings are only 3/16" round offering unsurpassed protection. Incredibly dense, the rings provide ultimate defense against what may come your way. All warriors of the period prized this type of mail - it was purchased by the few who could afford it and presented to the hero that earned it. Hero's Mail Shirt has a large number of chain mail links, because of that, this shirt is not lightweight. Approx. 31" long. 55" chest. 31 1/2 lbs. This Hero's Mail Shirt matches our Hero's Mail Coif, which is Item #300088. We recommend keeping this mail oiled at all times.

Hero's Chainmail Coif: The smaller and finer the rings, the better the protection. We recommend keeping this mail oiled at all times.

Medieval Long Belt: This wonderful medieval long belt is a fantastic addition to a variety of different outfits. This style belt was worn from the dark Ages through the High Middle Ages. Made of a thick, top grain leather, it is richly adorned with antiqued and polished brass accents, buckles and belt tip. The extra long length makes the belt not only historically accurate, but wearable by just about any sized man. Brown only. One size, approximately 70 inches.

Chainmail Gauntlets: To protect the back of the hand, we have added mail on our black leather gauntlets and also placed slightly cupped steel lames all around the cuff. These gauntlets offer good protection to the hand, wrist and lower arm from a sword slash or draw cut. There's a pair much like these at the Art Institute of Chicago that are highly decorative, however we have left ours plain to keep the price down and to allow them to be historically correct from the Early Middle Ages well into the Renaissance. S, M, L or XL.
