The Emerald Empress Dress is an absolutely gorgeous two-piece dress ensemble that is made from high-quality materials, featuring a very simple yet elegant style, this dress derives much of its beautiful appearance from its materials. This dress consists of an under-gown and an over-gown, the over-gown is made from high-quality taffeta, which has been embroidered with a beautiful floral pattern. Taffeta behaves quite similarly to silk, down even to that illustrious shimmer that silk has when under the light. The ensemble is primarily a beautiful shade of green that has been accented with white in places, a narrow vertical band of white decorates the upper part of the ensemble while a triangular strip decorates the skirt. White ruffles decorate the neckline, and the fitted, half-length sleeves echo this decoration on their hems. The upper part of the Emerald Empress Dress features a fully-lined interior as well as boning, which serves to offer support to your body when worn. This dress fastens via laces on the front of the dress, which makes it highly adjustable, it can be re-adjusted to fit several different body-types. Please note that a hoop-skirt was used in the picture above to create the dress distinctive appearance, the dress itself does not include a hoop-skirt. If the pictured shape is desired, then a petticoat or hoop-skirt can be purchased separately, otherwise, the dress can be worn without either accessory. The pictured hat is also not included with the dress.
