Coming from successive generations of samurais, my brothers and I are guided by the Bushido; the code that describes the 7 grand virtues of our heritage. Thus we must strive for the highest standards of rectitude, courage, benevolence, respect, honesty, honour and loyalty toward our masters. These virtues guide us in times of war and peace, as does the wisdom of our daimyos lords. The two seven-layered steel swords of our Daish, created by Grandmaster Musashi himself, are the extension of our will; as elegant as they are lethal. Having been born into the house of warriors, one's intentions are as crystal clear as a mountain spring: to grasp the katana and wakisashi and to die. Asians legends and epic stories abound with martial artists whose mastery of the sword were near superhuman: from the humble and loyal samurai that serve a benevolent master to the lawless ronin whose travels are guided by the wind and willows. Lets not forget the dreadful ninja that may be disguised as a penniless samurai and may have obtained theses priceless ancestral weapons by dishonourable means.
This sublimely elegant short sword, the secondary weapon of the samurai, was designed to be an accurate reproduction of classic wakizashis of medieval Japan. Its decorated handle, shorter than our katana model, offers the same comfortable grip. The blade, shorter than the katana by a few centimeters, possesses the same flexibility and safety characteristics. It features a cleverly designed circular guard (a tsuba) that can be removed and replaced for other, soon to be available models. Yet, when installed, the tsuba remains firmly in place and isnt dislodged by opposing blows.
