The Miniature Prussian Helmet, by Marto, is a reproduction of a Prussian helm worn during the 18th centuryknown as a pickelhaube (old German for, loosely, pointed bonnet). Little more than a skullcap with a point on the top, in this instance the classic point has been replaced by an imperial eagle with out-stretched wings. Made in cast-metal, with components finished in either burnished silver or gold, this helm is a simple thingperfect for Prussian soldier garbed in parade dressor for a collector to eagerly display.
