Instead, this death carries a crystal ball, in which is displayed a single skull, although if death chose a different focus, it could likely show anything else. It seems that, in this case, death has focused his thoughts onto an already-claimed soul; woe to the living who finds themselves under death's scrutiny, however, for surely it means they are next. Thanks should be given, instead, that a skull rests in the Crystal Ball Grim Reaper Statue: surely it is better that death contemplate the already-dead then focus on those who still have long lives ahead of them.
